10/15/17- South Carolina recruit.  Long, projectable frame. Appears to have shortened the arm action. The arm works quick and the fastball gets on top of hitters. There was a lot of swing and miss with the fastball, even with the velocity a bit down at 86-89 mph. Shows the ability to really spin a curveball and continues to trend upward.
01/21/17- The 6-foot-4, 185 pound right handed pitcher was extremely impressive in his two innings of work striking out all six batters he faced. Uncommitted at the time and recently committing to South Carolina, the righty has a free and easy arm action with the fastball really jumping out of his hands at 88-90 mph. Showed a feel for a slider at 76-81 mph. He pitched consistently down in the zone to both sides of the plate with swing and miss stuff. A very impressive performance and has a lot of upside going forward.
11/12/16- Strong and lanky 6-foot-4, 185-pound pitcher's frame. Has broad shoulders with long arms and a high waist. Delivery has a little funkiness to it. Throws slightly across his body and fastball has some natural cut at 87-88mph. Stays balanced throughout delivery and repeats his pitching motion well. Arm is loose and shows some quickness. Looks to be a guy that adds a few mph on fastball when his body fills out and fully matures. Throws a spiked curve at 71-72 mph that was inconsistent but had the signs of becoming an average to above average pitch. Tendency to get under his offspeed pitches with both the curve and circle change. Change sat  71-72 mph, a good differential between fastball and change, but did not show much arm side fade. Guy to follow

11/10/15- 6-foot-4, 180-pounder with a tall, lean and athletic build. North Carolina recruit. During the game his fastball sat 85-88 mph with tailing action and touched 89. Curveball sat 69-71 mph with some depth. Falls off the mound a bit, but otherwise repeats well. Made an adjustment with his stride in the second inning that allowed him to hit the strike zone more efficiently.
1/27/15 Tall loose lean very projectable body with long arms and legs. Loose easy working arm from a high 3/4 slot. Big take away in back and lands across his body. Inconsistent release out front. Occasionally works around the ball. FB is a natural cutter at 80-83 mph. Occasionally gets under it and flattens out but mostly has late cut action to it. Didn't throw any secondary stuff. Very young kid with a very high ceiling. Will be interesting to follow.
