Fall '18. Transferred to South Florida.
2/25/16 - Miami Dade CC recruit. 6-foot-4, 215 right hander with a tall strong athletic projectable durable pitchers body. Very physical body.  Good delivery with a loose live clean arm at a high ¾ arm slot. Repeats delivery. Throws fastball consistently for strikes. Also plays third base but more of a future on the mound. Fast ball is 89-92 mph and straight with downhill tilt. Held his velocity throughout most of the game. The curve ball is below average right now but has good ¾ rotation at 71-73 mph. Change up has some fade to it but inconsistent at 78-79 mph. Is a bit of a project but has a lot to work with. Should be a 2016 draft.
10/6/15 - Uncommitted senior. 6-foot-3, 190 pound RHP/3B with a tall athletic projectable body. Loose arm with a high arm slot. Lands across the body. Fastball was 84-86 mph. Did not see secondary stuff. Also was a good looking third baseman.
10/6/15- Tall, athletic, strong, and projectable frame. Upright at the plate with a slightly open stance. Low hands, gets a separation and hand trigger for his load. Stays inside the ball well but can occasionally let the ball get too deep. Ball jumps off his bat when he hits it out in front. Soft hands in the field with plenty of arm to stay at third.

10-28-2018Closing the game out for the Bulls is Miami-Dade transfer Nelson Alvarez. The junior definitely looks primed to hold down the back end of the bullpen. He has a big, strong and lean frame. Showing improved command, the fastball sat 94-95 mph and has been up to 98 mph in the past. He also showed feel for and above average changeup at 83-86 mph and an average curveball at 76-77 mph.
