Cervone has a stocky frame and moves fluid in the infield. He displays true hands and feet that play soft and through the baseball, aiding strong and accurate throws up to 85 mph. He shows a natural tendency to pull the ball at the plate but has enough balance before, during, and after the swing that he is rarely out in front and hits most balls on the nose. Cervone also got on the mound and worked efficiently in his lone inning. He utilized the lower half and engaged the hips to drive towards the plate as he ran his fastball up to 85 mph with a 66-72 mph breaking ball that showed depth at times.

Strong, athletic build standing at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds with advanced strength for his age. Offensively, he has present pull side power which should only improve has he matures. Ball jumps off the bat and has the physical tools to become a balanced offensive threat. Registered a 93 mph exit velocity in the cage which was one of the top ones in his class. Showed solid actions at third along with a strong, accurate arm across the diamond, topping out at 81 mph on his throws. On the mound shows a quick arm and featured an 81-83 mph fastball while mixing in a 66-67 mph curveball. Struck out a batter during his time on the hill. Athletic and competes on the mound. Interesting two-way player with current pull side power at the plate.
