(19.59 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a compact load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was explosive, used a short swing plane and high finish. During his round he produced a lot of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Behind the plate, he recorded a position velocity of 74 mph during throw downs; had a quick clean transfer, athletic footwork, and soft consistent hands. had quick feet and transfers on his throw downs, recording a 1.92-2.06 pop time. Athletic setup with a lot of flexibility. From a high ¾ slot, showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a quick arm action. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.98.

Behind the plate, he recorded a position velocity of 78 mph during throw downs; had a quick exchange, consistent soft hands, and quick athletic footwork. displayed next-level catching ability by boasting a 1.93-2.08 pop time. Above average flexibility and athletic setup. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a quick arm action with an-over-the-top slot. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.94.

8/18/17 - On the the younger participants, he showcased a potential for a bright future. Offensively, the right-handed hitter starts slightly open, is aggressive through the zone and shows above average bat speed for his class. There is some stiffness, but should loosen as he continues to mature. The path is short and consistently finds the barrel. Defensively he also shows a lot of promise. He has a stocky catchers frame, with quick twitch actions. The feet are quick and shows an above average catch to release with a clean and quick transfer. Also showed a strong arm, topping out at 71 mph and a pop time of 2.15.
