6/01/19

2020 Tulane commit - 5 foot 11 inches and 155 pounds.  Athletic and lanky frame with room for growth and moves well on and around the mound.  Clean arm action with good arm speed with fastball sitting 87-88, curveball 69-70. Commands all pitches for strikes and works low in the zone, while near fastball arm speed on off speed pitches. Good balance point with effortless rhythm while delivery is in line to home.

08/04/18- 5-foot-11, 155 pound SS/RHP has an athletic frame that still has room to grow, fill out and mature. Positionally, he is an average defender, moves well and hands work. He would most likely profile more as a second baseman. Offensively, the swing is simple, level and compact. The path works and will continue to improve with added strength. He may have the most upside on the mound. The arm action is quick and clean. The fastball worked mostly 84-86 and showed a four and two seam fastball. The velocity has been better in the past, but he showed feel to command the pitch down in the zone, to both sides of the plate. He rushed down the mound more than normal, leaving the arm to be late and the slider having less bite than usual. The slider worked 69-71 mph and when he got to extension it has two plane action. Also, showed a feel for a straight changeup at 75 mph. Overall, he is athletic and the arm really works. As he adds strength and continues to log innings, he could make some major strides, especially on the mound.

06/23/18- Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-10, 150 pounds on a lean, athletic frame. Continues to trend upward. Athletic infielder with some present hit tool. The swing has some steepness, but gets into the lower half and works out in front. Defensively, he works with the pre-pitch hop and shows solid lateral agility. Has made some big jumps on the mound and pounded the bottom of the zone with a two-seam at 83-85 mph and four seam at 85-88 mph, striking out the side during his inning on the mound. The delivery is athletic and repeatable, working from a 3/4 slot, there is a feel down in the zone. Overall, the continues to grow and mature and show a high ceiling.

06/03/18- Athletic, with a compact arm action, the fastball ranged mostly 83-86 touching 87 mph. Showed ability to spin a tight, short, hard slider at 74 mph. Athletic two-way talent with upside.

09/30/17- The 5-foot-9, 140 pound INF/OF has some present athleticism. Running a 7.41 60 yard dash, the athleticism plays better than his time in game play. From the outfield, he shows a loose, accurate arm topping out at 82 mph. In the infield, he works with rhythm to and through the ball, his hands work well and the defense played well in game play. Offensively, he has a small leg kick and simple approach to the ball. Slightly rotational, he is level through the zone with present bat to ball skills. He had a hard hit line drive out in game and would look to see the athleticism improve with a growth spurt and added strength.

07/26/17- The 5-foot-9 135-pound SS/OF/RHP, has a high waist and looks primed for a growth spirt. Defensively, in the infield he shows athletic action that project. The footwork can continue to improve, but the action work and showed enough range to stay in the middle of the field. Offensively, the right handed hitter has a very simple setup and load. This creates a short, level, line drive, gap-to-gap swing which translated to multiple hard hit ball in the game including a line drive single. On the mound, the right-hander threw strikes from a simple, clean delivery with a fastball that ranged from 78-80 mph.

06/21/17 - Currently stand at 5-foot-9, 135 pounds and has a high waist and looks prime to for a growth spirt. Defensively, the footwork is solid and there are some twitchy actions. The hands work well as he funnels and transfers well. Offensively, the right-handed hitter is level through the. Has some length, but also has good bat to ball skills. Created an exit velocity of 79.4 mph. Will be an interesting follow as he continues to fill into his body.
