8/22/19

Stocky frame with a solid offensive profile. Quiet head and approach in the box. Has a good feel for hitting with above average pop potential. Stays inside the baseball well, uses leverage in lower half to drive the ball to all fields. Pulled an inside fastball sharply down the LF line in-game, pulling his hands in and adjusting to the location nicely. Some defensive potential at 1B with present arm strength at 80-81. Movements are fluid and athletic on both sides of the ball. Exit velocity of 93 mph, has the chance to get stronger.

7/28/19

Uncommitted. Strong, solid frame standing at 6-foot, 210 pounds. Solid all around defender at first base. Offensively, he has a lot of present strength. He could access more lower half strength with a somewhat longer stride, but he shows the ability to consistently find the barrel, flashing present pull side power. Overall, there is offensive upside with power potential. On the mound, he worked a clean, 1-2-3 inning, striking out one. He has a fastball that worked 73-75 mph and a changeup at 70-72 mph.

6/30/19

6-foot-1, 197 pound solid frame. Present strength and pop in the bat with an advanced feel. Good lower half and a controlled, compact swing. Present gap to gap pop with potential to drive the ball over the wall. 88 mph exit velocity with good backspin and jump off the bat. At 1B, there’s good actions and an average to above average arm that notched 79 mph. Topped 77 on the mound with low effort and a clean arm action, but it is clear that the future is in the bat.

2/14/19

6-foot, 210-pound first baseman and right-handed pitcher, thick frame, strength throughout. Offensively, takes an open setup, low leg kick timing trigger, maintains balance. Power hitter, looks to elevate the ball to the pull-side, 91 mph exit velocity. Defensively, long arm action, ¾ slot, 78 mph across the infield. Fields position athletically, soft glove, clean exchanges. On the mound, long arm action, soft stab on back-side, ¾ slot. Drop and drive delivery, works on-line, lands toe-closed, finishes crossing over. Fastball sat 78-81. Curveball, 11/5 shape, 65-67. Changeup, sinking action, 72-75.

10/17/18

Uncommitted. Currently stands at 6-foot, 210 pounds with a strong, solid frame. Has been a standout at multiple events recently and continued to impress both offensively and defensively during the game. The ball jumps off the bat and he creates hard contact when he squares it up, driving the ball with authority. Shows some present pull side power as well. During the game he laced a ball back up the middle for a line drive single. Defensively, he shows solid defensive actions around the bag and made a couple of key plays at first during an inning, picking the ball twice on short-hop throws to the bag from the infield.

7/14/18

Big, strong frame standing at 6-foot, 210 pounds. Creates hard, solid contact on the ball and registered the top exit velocity of 88 mph in the cage. Has a small leg kick trigger and overall simple, compact swing. Generates power from a strong lower half, especially showed pull side power.  Drove a ball down the right field line during game play for an RBI single. Defensively, he moves well at first. Hands and feet work well together. Overall, the bat has real power potential to follow.

2/17/18

Uncommitted. The only freshman to start for Eau Gallie and you can see why. He moved well at first, making a nice diving play early. He has a big, strong frame that will continue to lean out with age. He showed power potential driving a home run out to left-center. He will be a young bat with power potential to follow.

8/18/17

5-foot-11, 190 pound 1B/RHP. Offensively, the right handed hitter has some present strength for his age. He has simple swing and creates natural loft. As he learns to clear his backside and utilize his lower half he will have a chance to hit for some power as he gets older. Defensively, he shows above average defensive actions at first. He moves well around the bag and shows quality footwork with the ability to pick the ball in the dirt. On the mound, he worked 72-74 mph with his fastball, 57 mph with the curveball and 68-70 mph with the changeup.
