Works at an extremely quick pace, does not allow batters to settle into the box, makes it uncomfortable. Arm works short with advanced speed out front to a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 85-88, touched 89 with run to both sides of the plate. Slider, swing and miss pitch, downer action, tunnels well with his fastball, 72-73. Threw a high volume of strikes with both pitches and routinely induced swing and misses.

South Carolina commit. 6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed pitcher, projectable frame, high waist, broad shoulders, strong lower half, lots of room to fill out, athletic on the mound, high ceiling. Long, loose arm action, advanced arm speed, whippy hand, ball jumps out of hand, works from a ¾ slot. Powerful lower half drives down the mound, bag leg stays tall, some bounce in his steps, works on-line, long stride, lands square, finishes crossing over. Fastball sat 87-88, touched 89, running action. Curveball, 70-72, 12/6 shape, depth, tight spin, potential swing and miss pitch. Changeup, 76-77, fade, has potential to be an above average pitch. Pitches uptempo and at a quick pace, does not allow batters to settle into the box for an AB.
