10/05/19

2020 Brett Campbell Hampton High School very impressive at the plate again.  Has hit every weekend this Fall at Lake Point.

10/04/19

6-foot-1, 175 pounds with room for more; present hand and wrist strength and utilizes it well at the plate. Hits from a calm stance with knee bend. Aggressive swing that has had an extremely impressive fall season. Flat bat upon load, barrel stays flat through the zone. Hands work very quick; reacts well to pitch on outer-half of zone. Advanced hitter.

10/01/19

Uncommitted. 6-foot-1, 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, proportional build, athletically built. Offensively has been one of the most consistent hitters we have seen at LakePoint throughout the entire summer and now into the fall. A natural hitter, hits from a slightly open setup with weight displaced on his back-side, hands start back, cocks wrist on load, high leg lift stride, good balance through contact. Has quick hands which lend themselves to a smooth line drive type swing, uses the entire field. Can really move on the basepaths and is aggressive, always looking to take the extra bag. A gamer.

9/18/19

The 6-1, 175 lb outfielder showed a legitimate feel on the base paths creating havoc with good anticipation and a feel for how to steal bases while showing outstanding athleticism. He runs very well having clocked in at the (3.1-3.2) range stealing bags, defensively he had great reads, first step quickness, angles and captained the outfield making all of the plays hit his way.
