Young Harris Commit. The two-way was dynamite for NextLvl helping boost them to the tournament championship coming out of the bullpen three times in 4 days and posting his best stuff in his final appearance in the semis sitting 86-89/T90 and showcasing a 75-80 slider that he was manipulating shapes on. Hutchinson has a short arm stroke that allows him to create some deception as the ball is hidden well for a long time decreasing the time for the hitter to see the baseball. Hutchinson is an arm we really like who could end up being a big time high leverage arm at the next level.
18U State Games
Young Harris Commit. Hutchinson came in to close the semi-final game for NextLvl and was electric. He attacked hitters with his fastball-slider combo and was just relentless. The fastball jumped out of the hand at 87-89 and his 76-78 slider tunneled well and showed makings of an eventual strikeout pitch. Offensively, he is a physical presence and has juice in the bat at 6-1 170, but has a ton of room to mature and add mass to his frame; he is broad shouldered with long arms and the lower half is nowhere near as thick as it can be down the road, ton of room for growth.
