One of the top two-way talents in the country, the 6-foot-6, 240 pound righthander sports a four-pitch mix headlined by a 92-94 mph fastball that will touch 96. He’s now two years removed from the Tommy John surgery that cut short his 2021 season and limited him in 2022. His athleticism plays well on the mound, where his quick arm produces low-90s heat from a three-quarter release point. He also has the makings of two decent secondary pitches in his 79-80 slider and low-80s changeup. In six starts this season Finley has pitched 22.1 innings with a 2.82 ERA and 21 strikeouts, while batting .354 with nine home runs.
