5/14/18 - Gutted his way to a complete game effort against an offense that was averaging more than eight runs per game in the post-season, throwing two-thirds of his pitches for strikes and not surrendering a walk, while striking out five. Pitching out of a three-quarter slot, he repeated his delivery well and showed good composure throughout the game, along with some fire in big spots. He mainly worked armside with a fastball at 80-81, occasionally showing in to right-handed hitters and also elevating effectively with two strikes. He has feel for a change-up at 70-71 with some late dive that he was willing to double-up with. Also mixed in a curveball at 69-71 that played up when he began using it early and in down counts, as opposed to a as putaway pitch.
