2/22/19: Aggressive righthander who physically resembles Tom "Flash" Gordon. Good athlete. Repeats his delivery. Quick arm. Overcomes his less than ideal arm action to fill the strike zone. Sets up from the third base side of the rubber, lands slightly cross-body and throws from a high slot, creating some angle to the plate. Yet fastball still had below-average life. Must learn to consistently cut for success in pro ball. Touched a couple of 93s in the first inning, pitched at 90-91 mph. Showed two breaking pitches; slider with longer break at 77-80 mph and curve at 73-75. UCLA hitters saw the slider early and laid off. I did not see his best outing this past weekend, but saw a good one last spring against Florida State. The lack of a consistently above-average secondary pitch combined with a fastball that plays below-average may limit his draft value. (Seifert)

4/10/18: Started the opener on Friday night. Quick armed righty with an aggressive delivery. Sets up on the third base side of the rubber, creates down angle with a high three-quarter, almost over hand slot, as well as some cross-fire due to his position on the rubber. Moved his 90-93 mph fastball around to both sides and elevated it on occasion. Also showed an average to above tight curveball at 74-76 mph and real quick feet on his pickoff move to first base.
