Tends to leave breaking ball arm-side but should be readily corrected in college. Shows late run and sink on changeup thrown at fastball arm speed.

Controlled tempo, avg. sync with upper and lower half, short compact arm action on backside, hides baseball from hitter, long out front and deceptively jumps on hitter. Fastball was 82-85 mph with late life to both sides of plate. Solid depth on sweeping 2/8 breaking ball at 71-73 mph. Projectable frame and arm action. One of better uncommitted arms in state with continued development.

Six-foot-2, 175-pounf left-handed hitting 2-way player. #44 ranked player in IA 2018 class. Lean athletic frame. Projects to continue to add quality weight. Loose and easy athletic delivery, clean arm action, ball jumps out of hand on hitter. Fastball was 83-84 mph with late action; showing varying cut and run. 1/7 curveball has big shape; and flashes sharp break. Occasional slows arm action on changeup. Easy load, avg. balance in box, solid bat speed, hard contact when stays in middle of field, tendencies to spin-off at contact, 88 mph exit velocity. Loose easy actions in field, confident with glove, fields in rhythm, long clean arm action with accuracy and carry to target, 87 mph arm strength from outfield.
