Wisconsin-Milwaukee commit, currently ranked No. 20 in Illinois. Strong, physical 6-foot-3 215-pound frame. Superior strength in his forearms and hands. Offensively, the right-handed hitter starts in a slightly open athletic stance. Uses a leg-kick to maintain rhythm in his swing. Has the ability to create backspin. Quiet hands that work directly and short to the ball. Easy power to all fields, ball jumps off the bat. Finished the day 1-for-3 with a sharply hit double to center. Defensively shows above-average range for his size. Smooth hands, works through the ball and his arm is plenty strong for the left-side of the diamond. High-level 2021 prospect with big tools. 

Positional Profile: 3B; One of the biggest winners of the event. Was towards the top of nearly every TrackMan category during BP and carried it over to the game.
Body: 6-3, 205-pounds. Wide-shouldered, physically-advanced, muscular frame.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, smooth quiet load, short stride and balanced finish. Creates easy, explosive bat speed. Ball sounds different and jumps off the barrel. Short path, strong hands, power bat, routinely on the barrel.
Power: 96 mph exit velocity from the tee. Scorched a double off the left-field wall during game play. During BP, according to TrackMan, Max exit speed of 100.24 mph. Led the event with an average distance 304' and max distance of 391'.
Arm: RH. INF - 86 mph. Short, firm arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Sound actions, steady hands, plays light on his feet for size, athletic double play turn and made a couple of impressive body control plays during game play.
Run: 6.7 runner in the 60. Plus run time given his physical frame.

2019 Future Games: 6-foot-3, 195-pound, strong, wide-shouldered, physical, right-handed hitting third baseman. Showed off an impressive combination of tools during the workout portion of the event and carried it over into gameplay. Jimenez ran a 6.62 laser-timed 60, registered a 100 mph exit velocity and was 85 mph across the infield. The combination of size, speed and bat strength make Jimenez one of the more interesting follows on Team Illinois. At the plate, open setup, slight coiled loading action and hands get separation. Aggressive swing, looks to drive the baseball with authority and consistently worked the left-center field gap. Took a number of quality, competitive at-bats throughout the week. Collected a hit in each of the three games, including a double in game two and a triple into the right-center field gap in game three. Defensively, profiles at a corner infield spot and potentially a corner outfield spot given the way he runs. Deliberate actions on the infield, steady hands, length through release and arm plays long from a ¾ slot. High-follow 2021 prospect.

Arm: RH. INF - 84 mph. Long, quick arm action. high 3/4 slot and throws carried across the diamond.
Defense: Active feet, sure-hands, long through release.
Run: 6.76 runner in the 60. Advanced runner for frame and position.

Delivery: Tall and fall delivery, works with rhythm, stays on-line and lands square. 
Arm Action: RH. Long arm action, high 3/4 slot and quick arm out front.
FB: T83, 81-82 mph. Thrown for strikes, slight arm-side-run.
SL: 66-68 mph. 10/4 shape, short wrinkle.
CH: 70-72 mph. Feel for the zone, maintains arm speed, sinking action.
