MIF Bo Gomric (Althoff, 2025) is another ranked player inside the 2025 class that impressed on Saturday. Gomric showed athleticism in all three facets of the workout, starting the day off with the fastest 60 time of the event at 6.95 seconds while also jumping 30.6” in the vertical jump. The right-handed hitter then had a loud round of bp where he was consistently on the barrel (75% line drives) to the middle and pull-side parts of the field, with a max EV of 96.1 mph (avg 89.9 mph). Defensively, Gomric showed athletic actions that could see him stick on the dirt at the next level, playing with confident feet and hands, to pair with an arm that showed to be accurate from multiple arm slots.
5-foot-10, 160-pound frame, with strength in the lower half. Athletic and loose right-handed swing that was on the barrel during Sunday morning’s game, collecting a pair of hits from the leadoff spot for the Gateway Bruins. At second base, he is a quick mover side-to-side and pairs it with sure-handed actions that look the part of a lockdown defender up-the-middle.

Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 77.3 mph. 340’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 81 mph. Throws naturally from multiple slots, arm plays easy and accurate.
Defense: Plays low to the ground, easy actions, natural infielder. Hands play soft and confident, body control on the move.
Run: 6.75 runner in the 60.
Making his PBR debut, INF Bo Gomric (Althoff Catholic, 2025) was a name that caught our eye during the IHSA season and at Creekside this summer, too. The 5-foot-10, 160-pound multi-sport (soccer) junior, Gomric ran the event’s fastest 60 time (6.75), reaching a peak speed of 21 mph during his sprint. It’s a loose, easy operation at the plate with a level right-handed swing that’s comfortable producing regular line drive contact, singling in-game at this event. Gomric plays with natural bounce on the infield, controlling his body on the move with soft, accurate hands and an arm capable of effectively working from multiple arm angles.
5-foot-8, 150-pound athletic frame with strength in the lower half. Started at third base and hit cleanup for Althoff Catholic in this look. Confidence and moxy at the plate, balanced base, bat waggles pre-pitch. Athletic hands, level bat path, patient. Looked the part defensively both in pre-game and throughout the day. Bounce and rhythm in the lower half, glove works out front with clean funnels inward. Chested up a hard line drive and recovered to make an accurate throw across the diamond, made a handful of plays to the glove side as well. Quick to release from a short ¾ slot. A sophomore to follow for the Crusaders throughout the spring.
