9.16.18 - Unsigned senior. 6-foot-3, 170-pound, lean, wiry, live-bodied, right-handed pitcher. Came out of the bullpen and threw one inning. Short, quick arm action, high ¾ slot. Worked primarily with his fastball. Controlled the zone, sat 83-86 mph; worked mostly straight, occasional arm-side-run.

5.23.18 - Houston commit. Currently ranked No. 48 in Illinois’ 2019 class. 6-foot-3, 170-pound, right-handed starting pitcher, long-limbed, athletic frame, plenty of room for continued physical development. Started for the Griffins issuing one hit in four innings of work, fanning three and walking one. Rocker step delivery, high knee coil at balance, occasionally rocks back on heels, when he got back to center, worked down the mound with extension and easy athleticism. Heel to toe open landing, some effort involved. Short arm on back side, loose and quick out front, clean high ¾ slot, hides the ball well. Fastball worked straight and effectively up getting multiple swings and misses, occasional cut, spotted it well to his glove side, 82-84 mph. Curveball 11/5 shape, flashed depth, can get around it, 73 mph. Slider was thrown harder, minimal depth, worked mostly on same plane, 77-79 mph. Changeup faded arm side in warm-ups, flashed ability to pull the string.
