4.23.16 - McNeese State recruit. Ranked No. 99 in the Illinois class of 2016. 6-foot, 195-pound, left-handed hitting catcher with a solid lower half, athletic build. Offensively, pre-pitch rhythm, balanced swing, advanced approach with bat speed; uses all field, can drive the ball to the opposite field with authority. Hands stay on top of the baseball, makes hard contact, ability to backspin the baseball. Defensively, athletic actions behind the plate, soft receiver and clean exchange. Short, clean arm action; throws were true, flashed carry and pop times ranged 1.98-2.07 in between innings. Final Line: 4-for-5, 2B, 5 RBI.

6.18.15 - Recently committed to McNeese State. 6-foot, 195-pound left-handed hitting catcher, solid build with strength. Hits from an open setup, short stride gets him back to even, good balance. Good bat speed, 87 mph exit velocity from the tee. Slight uphill path with pull side approach, sweeping left handed swing with lifting power. Defensively uses a short arm action, over the top slot, arm is accurate and carries, 78 mph out of the crouch. Exchange is clean, stands up out of the chute, can stay lower and use footwork more, 2.00-2.07 pop times.

2.16.15 - 6-foot, 200-pound, left-handed hitting catcher. In the field showed solid catch and throw skills. Short arm action from an over the top arm slot, blocks well. Popped 2.03-2.18 and threw 72 mph from the crouch. At the plate hits from an open, spread out stance, smooth load and short stride. Line drive, gap-to-gap hitter with a short uphill swing, and a fast bat. Showed strength thru contact with 90 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.76.
7.23.14 6-foot, 185-pound left-handed hitting catcher hits from an open stance, with a short, toe turn lower half load, hands load back significantly, producing long, uphill swing with 85 mph exit velocity.  Defensively, pop times ranged between 2.18-2.26 at 73 mph from the crouch.  Stands up early during transfer.  Displayed soft hands and solid receiving skills during pitcher bullpens.  Ran a 7.83 60 and 4.65 from home to first.
