Transferred from Edwardsville HS in the summer after his sophomore year ... At 6-foot-6, 205-pounds, Cantrall is an extremely projectable right-hander who has long limbs and a whippy arm action. Cantralls arm works with fluidity, as he topped out at 84 mph with late life. Cantrall showed feel for four pitches, including a cutter/slider that looks to be a strong go-to pitch. His curveball checked in at 66 mph, and his 72-73 mph changeup had some fade. With his size and arm action, it appears that Cantrall should continue to see his velocity climb in the coming years.
