7.11.17 - Arkansas commit. Currently ranked No. 6 in the Illinois Class of 2018 and No. 148 in the PBR Overalls. 6-foot-3, 165-pound left-handed pitcher with a lanky, thin frame. Works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long, quick arm action. Struggles to repeat release point. Drop and drive delivery working in line with home plate. Fastball has running action at 88-90 mph. Curveball has 1-7 shape at 72-73 mph. Changeup sat 78-79 mph. Will continue to improve on the mound as he adds strength. Also took part in batting practice. Balanced setup with a low hand set. Long, leg lift stride with fluid rhythm. Pull hitter with loose hands and an uphill swing path. 90 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.03.

5.12.17 - Arkansas commit. Currently ranked No. 3 in the Illinois’ 2018 class and No. 70 overall. 6-foot-3, 160-pound, wiry, athletic, left-handed pitcher, live, loose body. Plenty of room for continued physical development. High-ceiling left-handed pitcher who is just scratching the surface of his potential. Arm is long, loose and extremely quick. Athletic, slight drop and drive delivery, stays on-line with rhythm and tempo throughout. Fastball comes out of his hand easy, flashes life, mostly straight, occasional late arm-side-run, 84-86 mph, topped at 87. Inconsistent with his release point on this day. Curveball flashed sharp tight spin and depth, 68-70 mph. Only saw changeup in bullpen and in between innings; maintains arm speed, works straight. High-level left-handed pitcher in the 2018 class.

2.19.17 - Arkansas commit. 6-foot-3, 160-pound, long, lean and highly projectable two-way prospect with plenty of room for continued physical development. On the mound, left-handed pitcher with an extremely high ceiling. Arm is long, loose and quick out of a high ¾ slot; highly athletic arm action, projects for continued velocity gains down the road. Smooth, fluid delivery, stays on-line, lands square and finishes athletically. Fastball has late life, jumps out of his hand, life through the hitting zone and sat 88-90 mph, touched 91. Curveball, sharp spin, 1/7 shape, occasional late action, 71-73 mph. Changeup, maintains fastball arm speed, sinking action at times, 79-81 mph. Showed off his athleticism running a 6.82 laser-timed 60. Offensively, left-handed hitter, open setup, leg-lift timing trigger and incorporates lower half in swing. Loose hands, bat speed, long, uphill path, looks to lift the baseball; 86 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, big arm from the outfield; clocked at 91 mph. Fluid, easy outfield actions, plays through the baseball and soft hands. High ceiling left-handed pitcher in the 2018 class.
