A trio of Morton HS 2026 graduates; INF Camden Taylor, RHP/INF Cameron Crawford and OF Andy Ballard showed well at the Peoria event. Taylor has a fluid, projectable left-handed swing that stays on-plane while using the whole field. Crawford has a strong durable frame with above-average bat strength for his age (T89.9 mph with a max distance of 315). He also sat 77-78 mph on the mound. Ballard has a 5-foot-11, 160-pound frame, ran a 7.16, was 80 mph from the outfield and showed off a simple repeatable left-handed swing that was on the barrel up the middle of the field with easy effort throughout.

Body: 6-1, 220-pounds. Thicker frame. Some strength throughout.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, smooth load and leg-kick timing trigger. Strong hands, present bat strength, stays inside and short to the baseball, ball jumps off the barrel when synced up.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 80.8 mph. 315’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 72 mph. 3/4 slot, clean arm circle with some looseness throughout.
Defense: Two-hand gather out front, secures into the body, clean transfer.
Run: 8.89 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Controlled tempo into drop and drive lower half, in-line finish.
Arm Action: RH. Full arm action, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T78, 77-78 mph. Plays with carry. T1848, 1732 average rpm.
CB: 58-61 mph. Gradual break 11/5 shape, feel for the bottom part of the zone. T1730, 1631 average rpm.
CH: 69-71 mph. Slight depth and fade. T1599, 1494 average rpm.
