At 6-foot-3, 220 pounds of muscle, Lipe is a physically advanced sophomore, to be sure. Lipe was the best hitter at the event, as he showcased legitimate big-time power from the right side. With a quiet approach and strong hands, the ball came off the bat and sounded differently from the rest. Lipe was perhaps the most physically impressive player at the event. At 6-foot-3, 215 pounds, the muscular corner infielder has legitimate power potential. He stays tall and quiet, and is explosive through contact. Lipe is a physical 6-foot-3, 215-pound first baseman who possesses legitimate pull-side power at the plate. The right-handed hitter has an aggressive plate approach and gets excellent lower-half rotation and extension through the baseball. The ball jumps off his bat with backspin carry. Defensively, Lipe displayed soft hands and excellent glove work around the bag. Also scored a 27 ACT.
