7/25/19

Heartland CC commit. 6-foot, 175-pound catcher, lean athletic frame, plays fast. Right-handed hitter, balanced setup, gap to gap swing, flashed hard contact with an opposite field double. Hands are loose, strong and stay inside the baseball. Gets out of the box well, athletic base runner. Was 4.51 down the line on a single to right field. Defensively, plays with bounce and energy behind the plate. Active and agile blocker. Strong, accurate arm from a high ¾ slot.

6/04/19

Heartland CC commit. 6-foot, 175-pound, right-handed hitting catcher, well-proportioned and athletic, room to carry added strength. Tall, open set-up, small leg lift trigger, long toe-lift stride to even. Path plays level with looseness in hands, present bat speed, feel for the barrel in the zone, rhythm through contact. Looks to drive the ball to his pull side, can lift it, 86 mph exit velocity off the tee. Defensively, pop times ranged 2.00-2.09. Long arm action, high ¾ arm slot with accuracy and occasional carry, throws topped 78 mph from the crouch. Soft hands, fluid receiver, clean and athletic catch and release type, athletic actions. 4.68 runner, home-to-first.

3/16/19

6-foot, 175-pound catcher with athletic actions, room for added strength. Showed well at a recent PBR off-season event, catch and release skills are just as solid in game. Quick and clean transfers, arm is short, loose and quick, high ¾ slot. Ball carries to second, seems easy. Popped 2.03-2.10 in-game.

2.20.19 - 6-foot, 165-pound catcher with wiry, athletic build. Right-handed hitter, tall/open setup. Hands load back, long stride back even. Loose hands, level bat path, inconsistent timing but looked fluid throughout when on time; 91 mph exit velocity off the tee. Defensively, wide crouch, long and over-the-top arm action, above-average carry; throws topped 83 mph. Pop times ranged from 2.01-2.10. A 7.09 runner in the 60.
