Right-handed pitcher, started on the mound for the Pioneers going five strong innings allowing four hits, one walk and striking out eight. Tall and fall delivery, slightly closed landing and finished athletically. Fluid, short arm, high front side, creates angle out of a high ¾ slot, good tempo and rhythm throughout. Utilized a two-pitch mix, both for strikes; Fastball sat 81-83 mph with arm-side-run, some sink when down in the zone. Slider was firm, down in the zone, 1/7 shape with depth, sat 74-75 mph. At the plate, right handed hitter, tall, slightly open stance, level swing, simple approach. Finished 2-for-3 with a double down the left field line, scoring once.
