4/1/14 - Brokop and Speaker provide an intimidating presence in the middle of the Warriors order. Brokop impressed doubling deep to left on an Orbik slider left up in the zone. He buckled earlier in the at bat on a similar pitch. Showed relaxed, patient approach, hitting from a wide open stance, with a pre-pitch bat waggle. Even when crouched a bit looks every bit of 6-foot-4, 225 pounds at the plate. Defensively at 1B, showed stiff actions and not much lateral movement. Hands worked well and throws showed accuracy turning the double play.

8/9/13 - Big bodied first baseman, 6-foot-4, 240-pounds. Showed natural actions around the bag, showed soft hands for his size, above average footwork. Arm played at 71 mph across the diamond. Offensively hits from an open stance, short stride with some leg kick. Made consistent hard contact, pull side approach with lift. Well above average strength at the plate, 91 mph exit velocity from the tee.7.93 runner in the 60.

6.13.13 - 6-foot-3, 215-pound right-handed hitting first baseman. Hits from a tall, open setup with a leg-kick stride. Shows pullside power potential at the plate, generating some torque and lift in swing. Registered an 89-mph exit velocity off a tee. Ran an 8.13 60 and was clocked at 67 mph from first base.
