Minnesota State - Mankato signee. Mature, highly physical 6-foot-2, 205-pound left-handed hitter. Hit in the three-hole and started at first base for the Lancers in this look. Easy bat speed and strength from the left side, simple and uphill through the zone, plus raw power to the pull-side that translates to gameplay. Jumped on a low-90s fastball and pummeled it into the right-center gap for a double in his first at-bat, swatted a no-doubt home run the same way later on in the contest. A true middle-of-the-order power threat that’s slashing .313/.450/.625 with four home runs this season.
Minnesota State University-Mankato commit. The right-hander had a stellar day on the mound last week. In a 10-0 win over Jerseyville, the senior threw a five inning no-hitter with five strikeouts. In their game against Wesclin, he pitched three innings with no hits or runs and seven strikeouts. He also tallied four hits with two doubles and two RBIs on the week.

Body: 6-2, 205-pounds.
Delivery: Powerful drop and drive lower half, rides back knee downhill into a stride that works directly to the plate.
Arm Action: RH. Short, clean arm action. Works from a 3/4 slot.

SL: 74.6-78.1 mph. Thrown with aggression, 11/5 to 10/4 shape, around the zone. Inconsistent shape, blended into slurve at times. T2079, 2005 average rpm.
CH: 77.2-79.5 mph. Maintains arm speed, late arm-side-action, works down in the zone. T1781, 1644 average rpm.
Right-handers Ean DiPasquale (Belleville East) proved to be a pair of need-to-know arms from the event. DiPasquale reached an 83 mph high in June of last year, and climbed to an 89.0 high on Saturday, showing off what must have been a productive offseason.

Delivery: Controlled methodical delivery, drop/drive type action, heavy front hip turn prior to engaging downhill, stacks backside. Shoulders stay linear, front foot lands open, downward finish through release.
Arm Action: RH. Short arm stroke with some poke on the backside, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T83, 81-82 mph. Low-spin sinker type, heavy action, plays best at the bottom of the zone as a ground ball induced offering. T1762, 1622 average rpm.
CB: 66-72 mph. 12/6 shape, spun with more depth than slider. T2014, 1966 average rpm.
SL: 71-75 mph. Used earlier in the count to land for strikes, occasional swing and miss, best feel breaking ball at the moment. T2050, 1986 average rpm.
CH: 78-79 mph. Similar arm slot to fastball, fading action that mirrors fastball best low in the zone.
