Eastern Illinois commit, currently ranked No. 129 in Illinois. Compact/athletic frame, standing at 5-foot-9, 170-pounds. Started in left-field and hit in the cleanup spot for Freeburg on Friday evening. Repeatable right-handed swing; simple pre-pitch movements, uphill path to the ball with controlled violence, intent to do damage - finished the day with a double, triple and three RBIs. As a 6.80 runner in the 60, his speed easily translates to the basepaths; taking aggressive routes and angles while moving quickly out of the box. Hill also showed to have athletic actions in the outfield during IO, covering ground with ease and playing into an athletic crow-hop.
