10/7/18 - 6-foot, 188-pound, right-handed pitcher, well-proportioned frame, strong lower half. Slight side step to study, high knee balance point, extends with lower half, slightly cross bodied to home, toe lands square, athletic finish. Long, whippy arm action, asm speeds through a high ¾ window, regular effort. Fastball, mostly straight, slight run at times, 79-80 mph, topped 81 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, aggressive, 70-71 mph. Changeup, faded for strikes, occasionally cut it, 72-74 mph.
5/31/18 - Uncommitted junior. 5-foot-10, 170-pounds, solid lower half. Delivery has tempo with toe down lift into slight coil that lands slightly across body. Arm action is loose out of a high ¾ slot. Fastball showed improved velocity since February, sat 83-85 mph, touched an 86 mph. Breaking ball ranged 73-77 mph, acted slider or slurve at its best, showed feel. Competes on the mound and attacked the zone, inherited a bases loaded no out jam that he escaped with no damage.
2.19.18 - 5-foot-10, 170 pound, athletic right handed pitcher. Drop and drive, cross bodied style, closed landing, shoulders get square to home and stays in line through delivery, slight upright finish. Good balance point, long, loose arm action out of a high ¾ slot, regular effort involved. Fastball had arm side run, occasional sink, in the zone, sat 80-81 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, flashed some late, sharp break, ranged 71-74 mph. Changeup, maintains arm speed, straight, occasional cut, 68-69 mph.
