4.16.16 - Lewis recruit, currently ranked No. 229 in Illinois’ 2016 class. 6-foot-3, 215-pound frame, wide shoulders, strong lower half. Vastly improved since last look. Works exclusively from the stretch, over-the-top slot, short on the backside. Fastball sat 86-88 in the first two innings, mostly straight with occasional slight arm-side run. Flashed 81 mph changeup, throws pitch aggressively. Pitched second game of doubleheader, complete game victory, though only saw two innings of performance.
11.16.15 - Verbally committed to Lewis University.
10.2.15 - 6-foot-3, 210-pound, right-handed pitcher with an XL-frame. Impressed out the pen for Rhino. Works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long, quick arm action. Gets extension out front, falls off to first base side on release. Consistently works down glove side. Fastball sat 83-85 topping out at 86 mph. Slider sat 75-77 mph.
10.19.14 - 6-foot-2, 180-pound wide shouldered, strong right-handed pitcher works from a long, high ¾ to over-the-top arm slot, toe up at balanced point, kicks leg out and around, tilt-and-topple type delivery, shoulders work uphill, falls towards first base with momentum, lower half stride direction stays in line with home plate. Fastball sat 81-83 mph. Slider has late tilt, thrown hard from 73-76 mph, best pitch. Cutter was the same pitch as slider with less action, and slightly slower 73-75 mph.
