Gianni Passarelli: SS/3B, (2021) Buckeye Valley, OH. Ohio State Commit, 6-foot, 180-pound. In the box, Passarelli's best exit velocity was 89 mph. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a compact load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is quick, has an upward swing plane and low finish. Advanced while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 84 mph; has a clean exchange, smooth feet, and next level hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Had a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.19.

Hit: Left handed hitter.Begins with an athletic, slightly open stance. Loading sequence is smooth and syncs well. Level bat path through the zone, which was able to generate backspin to the gaps.

Field: Worked out as a SS. In the field, he displays good athleticism with above average glove skills. Hands and feet play well together.
Throw: 84 mph arm across the INF.

Hit: Athletic setup in the box. Short stride simple swing mechanics. Maintains a level bat path through the zone creating natural lift.
Power: Gap to gap power with more to come as he fills out.

Field: Looks the part up the middle. Advanced glove skills and solid footwork. Plays with positive momentum fielding left of center.

Currently ranked No. 48 in the Wisconsin 2021 class. Wiry, well-proportioned build. 6-foot, 170-pound left-handed-hitting 3B/SS. Balanced setup, minimal load, short stride, stays balanced through contact. Short, level path to the baseball, simple and compact swing, consistently barrelled up the baseball, used all parts of the field. Defensively, showed a strong control of his body on a slow roller at third base, consistent clean exchange, above-average arm strength, defends with confidence. Went 3-for-3 with a double and a walk out of the leadoff spot on Sunday morning against Rockets Baseball; led off for PTA Cardinal all tournament.

Arm: RH. INF - 80 mph. Short and loose arm action, athletic arm that can release from multiple arm slots.
Defense: Soft hands, fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange. Plays through the baseball, athleticism shows in the field.
Run: 7.24 runner in the 60. 


6-foot, 165-pound left-handed-hitting infielder with plus frame, with strong, wiry, athletic build. At the plate, athletic and slightly open setup, smooth load back, small leg lift stride. Swings in rhythm, flashes bat speed off a slight uphill plane, good balance throughout, repeats line-drive contact; 85 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively, natural middle infield actions, fluid feet with soft glovework, shows body control. Long arm action from a high ¾ slot, 75 mph throws across the infield. Ran a 4.47 home to first.


5-foot-11, 145-pound left-handed hitting infielder, thin wiry frame. Hits from open stance, slightly crouched, short stride, loads hands back. Path works naturally uphill from low hand position, loose hands, pull side launch angle approach. 76 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively showed some actions that played low, hands funnel to tall release. Arm is playable, high ¾ slot, occasional glove pat to release, 75 mph across the diamond. 7.75 runner in the 60.


5-foot-10, 140-pound left-handed hitting shortstop. Offensively hits from a balanced setup with a low handset. Toe tap stride with a collapse on the backside. Long, uphill swing path with some looseness in the hands. 77 mph exit velocity from a tee. 5.00 runner down the line. Defensively has a long, loose arm action from a high ¾ slot. Plays thru the ball with a long exchange. Threw 64 mph across the infield.


5-foot-6, 125-pound left-handed hitting infielder. Offensively, fluid rhythm, looseness in swing, repeats and stays on top of the baseball. Balanced setup, smooth load, toe-tap stride and level bat path. 69 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, fields the ball in the middle of his body, deep at times, quick release and flashed soft hands. Short arm action, ¾ slot, accurate throws clocked at 62 mph. Also, 8.83 runner in the 60.
