In the outfield, steady hands, plays through the baseball, long arm action, high ¾ slot and throws topped at 80 mph.
10/8/17 - 5-foot-8, 140-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder. Offensively, balanced setup, long stride, long, uphill bat path, ball jumps off bat at times and 71 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, left-handed thrower, short arm action, high ¾ slot, 75 mph from the outfield. 7.33 runner in the 60, laser-timed.

5-foot-8, 140 pound senior RHH hits with a short stride and stroke, middle to oppo approach at the plate. Quiet foot lift to load and stride, hands work down before traveling to the baseball at contact. Short path with the barrel to the baseball, short extension, quick out of the zone with front side. Contact hitter, shoulders working uphill. More lower half strength and length in swing to be developed. Short, quick arm action in the outfield. High OT release, with head spin at release. Feet work quick with good effort through the baseball to field and throw. PITCHING- The southpaw pitches predominantly from the stretch. Short, high 3/4 arm action. Shows some effort in the delivery with choppy rhythm. Shoulders are level. Stays in line, lands square, finishes upright. Fastball shows occasional run at 66-69. Breaking ball has 1/7 shape with early/gradual action.
6.8.16 - 5-foot-8, 132-pound two-way player. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, slightly crouched, short stride, lacked balance. Path has length, 69 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm action is long, high ¾ slot, with effort, 67 mph from the outfield. 7.73 runner in the 60. On the mound uses a tall and fall delivery with some effort, over the top slot, short arm action. Fastball had light action, 63-66 mph, touched 67 mph. Overhand curveball thrown at 54-55 mph, loose action. Straight changeup is 59-61 mph.
