5/21/13 - Best leadoff hitter I’ve seen in the state. Moreover, he very well may be my favorite player I’ve watched all year. He is a 5-foot-7, 160-pound bundle of quick-twitch energy. He has a polished left-handed swing, one that is extraordinarily balanced and flat through the zone. He always finds his way on base. And when he does, he wreaks pure havoc. No one runs the bases better that I’ve seen. He entered the game with 35 stolen bases, and swiped two more in the game. He was a 4.33 on the turn when he laced a run-scoring double. He’s hitting .522 for the season with 50 runs scored.

5/17/13 - No. 45 ranked player in Illinois 2014 class, No. 185 overall. Smaller frame, 5-foot-7, 160-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. Excellent leadoff type hitter, handles the bat well, short quick swing. Impacts the game on the base paths, high level base runner, excellent first step, advanced base running reads and jumps, 4.18 runner home to first. Davison is a high level base runner that has the ability to impact the game with his feet, he proved he can be a menace on the bases and is a constant threat to steal. Davison projects a high level leadoff hitter who knows his role on the bases. Stole three bases, went 1-for-2 with two runs scored.

2/17/13 - Smaller body type, 5-foot-7, 160-pounds, frame shows strength, left handed hitting outfielder. Defensively shows extremely athletic feet, quick actions, quick feet. Plays through the ball well, arm plays well, 85 mph from the outfield. Offensively shows an advanced approach at the plate. Hits from the left side with an open stance, uses short stride with smooth load. Handles the bat extremely well, short bat path, fluid rhythm throughout, consistently works the middle of the field. Hard contact hitter, creates whip. Projects as a high level top of the lineup hitter.
