Hits from an open stance, slightly crouched, chokes up on the bat, short, compact swing, up the middle approach. Singled up the middle in first at bat, lined hard to left in third at bat. Good control of the barrel, doesn’t swing and miss. Grounded out twice to second, 4.60, 4.75 down the line. Defensively, impresses with soft hands, strong accurate arm, throws from a short, quick, over-the-top arm slot, good carry on throws across the diamond. Central Michigan recruit ranked No. 69 in Illinois’ 2015 class.

Made solid play in the hole, showing off above average arm strength. Arm action is longer, but loose and clean from high ¾ slot. Hits from slightly open stance with considerable stride length, staying balanced throughout. Walked, grounded out to first (4.55 down line) and flew out to right.
2/16/14 Athletically built, 6-foot, 155-pound left handed hitting middle infielder. Defensively showed off one of the strongest arms in attendance, 87 mph across the infield. Arm action is long with looseness, creates carry, advanced arm strength. Showed the ability to play through the baseball, body control is above average, well above average athlete. 7.28 runner in the 60. Offensively hits from the left side, slightly open stance, short stride, good balance throughout. Smooth and easy swing, generates whip through the zone. 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. Slight lift in swing, shows the ability to work to both gaps.
