Previously we have seen him in the IF, but played the OF for Barrington. Solid actions during pre game with accurate throws. Showed off arm in game unleashing a strong accurate throw with carry on a base hit holding runner at second.  Balanced setup at the plate with a short swing path. Squared up against a high level arm. Showed off speed with perfectly placed bunt single down the 3B line, 4.01 down the line. 4.25 on a groundout.

10.19.14 - 6-foot-1, 190-pound muscular and athletic right-handed hitting shortstop currently ranked No. 82 in Illinois’ 2016 class. Hits from a balanced slightly open setup, quiet hands load smoothly, short stride, simple approach, short path feel for barrel, line drives from gap-to-gap, one of the top rounds of batting practice at the event, 84 mph exit velocity. Defensively, threw 80 mph across the diamond from short, high ¾ slot with accuracy. Profiles at third base, but hands work fielding the baseball, fluid footwork. Ran a 7.17 60.
1.19.14 - 6-foot, 195-pound infielder. Frame carries strength, wide shouldered, solid lower half, present physicality with more to come. Defensively showed athleticism on the field, able to play on the move, actions are sound, showed softness in hands. Arm plays at 72 mph across the diamond, with some accuracy. Offensively hits from balanced stance, short stride, smooth load with solid lower half. Maintains good balance through contact. Head stays quiet, short path to the baseball, well above average hands, bat speed is present. Posted 88 mph exit velocity off of the tee. Day also ran a 7.40 60. Day could project as a strong third base type with gap to gap power at the next level.
