3.18.17 - Western Illinois recruit. Long and lean, wiry, loose, live body right-handed pitcher. Threw six shutout innings picking up the win for Plainfield South. Repeats delivery, works with rhythm. Long, loose, quick arm from a ¾ slot. Steady two-pitch mix throughout. Fastball sat 84-85 mph, early and settled in at 80-83, occasional arm-side-run and thrown for strikes throughout. Threw a steady dose of curveballs throughout, clearly his go-to pitch. Good feel throughout, can throw it at any time, sharpens and tightens spin with two strikes. Ranged between  68-73 mph. Final Line - 6IP, 1H, 10K's, 3BB, 0R.

7.30.16 - Verbally committed to Western Illinois.
2/14/16 - 6-foot-4, 175-pound right-handed pitcher, long lanky frame, thin build, highly projectable loose athlete. Delivery has some effort, slow tempo to balance point with quick release. Arm action is quick and loose, high ¾ slot, highly projectable arm. Fastball has slight arm side run, topped at 88 mph, sat 84-87 mph. Showed a slider and curveball, both with good arm speed. Curveball worked at 67-72 mph. Slider played at 72-78 mph with better action, flashed sharp 10/4 break. Splitter sinks to arm side, ranged 71-74 mph, solid feel.
10.18.15 - Projectable, lanky build 6-foot-4, 175-pound plenty of room to fill out right-handed hitting infielder and pitcher. Offensively, generates easy pop at the plate. Open, tall setup, pre-pitch load of his hands and long stride. Short bat path and stays fairly flat through the hitting zone. Registered one of the better exit velocities of the event, 93 mph. Defensively, athletic actions and moves well laterally given his tall and lean frame at shortstop.  Quick, clean exchange and athletic fielding position. Ability to throw from multiple angles and clean arm. Throws were accurate, with carry and clocked at 84 mph across the diamond. Also, ran a 7.39 laser-timed 60. On the mound, short, quick arm action out of a high ¾ window. Some rhythm and quite a bit of effort in delivery. Four pitch repertoire, two distinct breaking balls and throws all of his pitches with conviction. Fastball flashed late life, thrown for strikes, mostly straight and ranged between 82-85 mph, touching 86. Curveball, better command than the slider, worked 11/5, depth and sharp action, sat 69-70 mph. Slider worked 10/4, some sweeping action and clocked 72-74 mph. Also, flashed a changeup that sat 69-72 mph. Intriguing prospect and legitimate two-way potential at the next level.
