Defensively, worked out as a catcher and infielder. On the infield, steady hands, athletic fielding position; out in front of his body and a quick, clean exchange. Short arm action, high ¾ slot and throws clocked at 71 mph across the infield. As a catcher could incorporate his lower half more on his exchange. Throws clocked at 68 mph from the crouch and pop times ranged between 2.17-2.25.
