6.14.17 - Drafted in the 38th round by the Texas Rangers.

3.24.17 - Maryland commit. Currently ranked No. 12 in the Illinois Class of 2017. 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-handed pitcher with a thin, athletic frame. Repeats delivery well with good tempo and balance. High ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action and easy effort. Fastball ranged from 84-88 mph in the outing. Fastball has running action, works it in on RHH’s. Changeup has running action at 81 mph, uses it effectively against left-handed hitters. Slider was 78-79 mph with sharp, late breaking action.

Super 60 2017 - Maryland recruit. 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-handed pitcher, long, lean, athletic build with plenty of room for continued physical development. Delivery is clean, athletic and repeatable; shows excellent rhythm and tempo throughout; delivers all three pitches out of the same window. Arm works free and easily, loose, quick arm action, minimal effort, high-¾ slot. Fastball ranged between 86-88 with slight run to the arm side; more velocity likely to come as he continues to physically develop. Shows advanced feel for changeup; throws pitch with fastball arm action, 79-80 mph, with arm-side sink. Slider ranged between 76-77 mph, more lateral action with some depth.

6.21.16 - Maryland recruit. 6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed pitcher, long, lean, athletic build with plenty of room for continued physical development. High-ceiling prospect. Delivery is clean, athletic and repeatable; shows excellent rhythm and tempo throughout, works online. Arm works free and easily, loose, quick arm action, minimal effort, high-¾ slot. Fastball ranged between 86-88 with some arm-side life; more velocity likely to come as he continues to physically develop. Advanced feel for three-pitch mix. Slider ranged between 74-75 mph, more lateral action with some depth; occasionally gets underneath pitch and flattens out. Throws changeup with fastball arm action, 79-81 mph, with arm-side sink.

5.2.16 - Maryland recruit. Ranked No. 6 in the Illinois 2017 class and No. 69 overall. 6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed pitcher with long limbs and a projectable frame. Free and easy delivery with rhythm throughout; stays on-line, athletic finish. Arm works long and loose from a high ¾ slot; struggled to repeat out front. Fastball was flatter and missed up in the zone more than in the past, at times flashed arm-side-run and sink; clocked at 82-86 mph. Breaking ball, slider/slurve action, 11/5 shape, 68-72 mph, inconsistent command flashed a few with late, tight break; potential to be a swing-and-miss offering. Changeup sat 76-78 mph average feel and flattened out up in the zone at times. Has shown much better overall feel and pitch-ability in the past. DiLuia has a high ceiling and when on his game, profiles as a starting pitcher at the next level.

2.14.16 - Maryland commit. 6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed pitcher, lanky frame, slender build, broad shouldered, highly projectable frame. Profiles as a high end starting pitcher, feel for four pitches and plus mound presence for his age. Delivery is clean, athletic and repeatable, works online and level, good balance. Arm action is clean and loose, easy arm, high ¾ slot. Fastball has arm side action, sat 85-87 mph, has an ability to command. Throws two breaking balls, both with true identity. Curveball has 11/5 shape, has control, 69-71 mph. Slider is 74-75 mph, 10/4 action, slight sweep action. Changeup showed plus action for his age, arm side run and sink, 77-78 mph, fastball arm action and excellent feel.
11.10.15 - Verbally committed to Maryland University.
Future Games 2015 - Long, lean, extremely projectable 6-foot-3, 175-pound right-handed pitcher has just as much upside on the mound as anyone on Team Illinois at the Future Games. The right hander possesses a plus pitchers frame to go along with a long, loose, whippy arm action from a ¾ arm slot. Diluia throws three pitches for a strike with his slider being a plus offering with tight sweeping action, sitting 76-77 mph. Consistently showed advanced feel for the slider and got a number of swings and misses in game play. Slight hesitation in his delivery which seems to cause a bit of deception for hitters. Fastball sat an easy 86-88 with some arm-side-run, challenged hitters and seemed to get on them in a hurry. Change-up was 81 mph with slight fade and arm-side-run. Diluia only allowed one hit and struck out one in his two innings of work at the Future Games.

4.24.15 - 6-foot-2, 175-pound, right-handed pitcher with a lanky, thin frame. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm slot with a short, quick, clean arm action. Smooth, online delivery with good balance throughout. Body is under control with minimal effort. Downhill shoulders at balance point, rocks shoulders uphill as he drives to the plate. Fastball sat 82-85 topping out at 86 mph. Fastball flashed sink at 82-83 mph. Curveball showed 11-5 shape with depth at 70-72 mph. Projects for more velo as he begins to fill out. Had some command issues in game thru downpours and hail. Currently ranked no. 17 in the Illinois Class of 2017.
