5/18/13 - The athletically built 6-foot-2, 185-pound Brill has been one of the spring’s bigger buzz guys among pro scouts. Signed at Appalachian State, Brill is receiving a lot of interest on the mound thanks his 88-91 mph fastball and a potentially big-time curveball. Brill didn’t pitch in doubleheader against St. Viator on Saturday, but it’s easy to see his athletic gifts. He hit a grand slam to right-center field and runs well.
