6/14/12 Mikolajczak is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound left-handed pitcher who displayed good rhythm in his bullpen session. Working from a high 3/4 arm slot, Mikolajczak features a 79-82 mph fastball with some arm side movement. He also showed command of a 63-65 mph curveball, which he located down in the zone, in addition to a 72-73 mph changeup.

2/19/12 Mikolajczak is an athletically built 6-foot-2, 190-pound left-handed pitcher who demonstrated rhythm and tempo throughout his delivery. Operating from a high 3/4 arm slot, he filled up the zone with three pitches. His fastball registered at 78 mph, while his 70-72 mph changeup exhibited some sink down in the zone. He also threw a curveball for strikes.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Mikolajczak has a long, lean projectable frame. Mechanically, he puts himself in athletic positions that allow him to take advantage of his height, throwing downhill with arm side run. The left hander was key contributor for the number-11 ranked varsity team at Lincoln Way Central. Mikolajczak�s best pitch was his tight breaking curveball with good rotation.
