Unsigned senior, currently ranked No. 164 in the Illinois’ 2019 class. 6-foot-2, 175-pound, right-handed hitting shortstop; highly-athletic build, proportional strength. Hits in the two-hole and plays shortstop, when not pitching for Wheaton Warrenville South. Finished 1-for-2 with a double, two runs, an RBI, a walk ad a hit-by-pitch. Doubled to right-center field and his one out was an RBI groundout. Bat stays through the zone, present bat strength and works gap-to-gap. Defensively, natural infield actions, sure-hands and accurate arm across the diamond.

8/7/18 - 6-foot-2, 175-pound, long, athletically-built, projectable two-way prospect; plenty of room for continued physical development. At the plate, quiet, balanced setup, short stride and fluid rhythm throughout. Flashed quick hands, bat speed, long bat path, middle of the field, line-drive approach. 86 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, on the infield, fluid footwork, moves under control, sure hands, clean transfer. Long arm action, over-the-top slot, and throws clocked at 83 mph across the infield. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, featured a three-pitch repertoire and showed feel for pitching; mixed timings and looks with runners on base. Fluid delivery, works on-line, lands closed, finishes athletically with regular effort throughout. Arm works short and over-the-top. Fastball, straight action, sat 81-83 mph, touched 85 twice. Curveball, thrown for strikes, 12/6 action, 67-72 mph. Changeup, feel, maintains arm speed at times, 73-75 mph.

5.22.18 - 6-foot-2, 175-pound, right-handed pitcher with an athletic, lean build. Started on the mound and hit in the two-hole for the Tigers. On the mound, delivery works on-line and with rhythm, lands closed. Short compact arm action from an over-the-top slot. Fastball works straight, downhill angle at times, sat 80-83 mph. Mixed in a curveball, 12/6 action, average feel, occasional depth, 65-69 mph. Saw one changeup at 75 mph. At the plate, right-handed hitter, finished the day 2-for-4 with an RBI. Quiet, relaxed setup, simple swing and looks to use the middle of the field. Both hits were up the middle and also lined out to second base. Was 4.26 down the line on a groundout.

7.18.17 - 6-foot-2, 165-pound right-handed hitting SS/RHP with a lanky, athletic frame. At the plate hits from a wide base with a long, leg kick stride and fair balance. Pull hitter with a long, uphill swing path. 86 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.26. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Athletic actions with a clean exchange. Threw 84 mph across the infield. On the mound works form a high ¾ arm angle with a loose, quick arm action. Works exclusively out of the stretch. Tall and fall delivery working in line with home plate. Square landing with smooth rhythm. Fastball flashes run at 80-84 mph. Curveball has 11-5 shape with minimal action at 70-74 mph. Changeup has running action at 74-76 mph. Projects well on the mound.
