Evansville commit. 5-foot-9, 150-pound catcher, athletic frame, plays the game with bounce. Hit leadoff finishing 1-for-3 with an RBI and two-runs scored. Control the barrel in the zone, gets his hands in and looks to drive the ball to the middle of the field, fluid rhythm. Impressed with his defensively abilities, quick and clean, catch and release guy, arm plays ultra-loose with accuracy to second base. Pop-times ranged 2.02-2.06 in-between innings, plays hard. Aggressive out of the box, 4.49 home to first.

2.11.18 - Evansville commit. 5-foot-8, 145-pound catcher, thin athletic frame. Defensively showed ultra-quick transfer, feet are quick out of the chute setting up quick glove to release transfer. Arm action is short and over the top, 75 mph out of the crouch. Pop times played 1.94-2.08. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, wider setup, smooth loading action into short stride, maintains good balance. Shows bat speed, line drive contact, in rhythm. 83 mph exit velocity from the tee. Ran the 60 at 6.82, laser timed.

10.27.17 - 5-foot-9, 155-pound, small, athletic catcher/infielder. Highly athletic behind the plate, quick feet, plays with bounce. Ultra quick out of the crouch, strong arm, throws carry. Multiple sub 2.0 pop times on the bag. Agile blocker during bullpens, flexible, soft strong hands, sticks pitches. At the plate, right-handed hitter, contact type guy, controls the barrel, stays within himself, line-drive approach.

7.18.17 - 5-foot-8, 145-pound catcher/infielder, smaller lean frame. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, smooth loading action with leg lift trigger, solid balance through contact. Worked the middle of the field in BP, showed occasional barrel control, average bat speed. Hits in rhythm with uphill path. 79 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm action is short and over the top, quick release, loose arm showed accuracy to target, exchanges the baseball cleanly, 73 mph from the crouch, 83 mph across the infield. Pop times played at 2.05-2.11. Shows soft hands defensively, actions profile best on the infield. 7.14 runner in the 60.

5.17.17 - 5-foot-8, 145-pound, lean, right-handed hitting catcher. Played third base but is a natural catcher. Soft, receptive hands, fluid feet and makes strong accurate throws. Offensively, even, crouched stance at the plate with rhythm with a no stride rock-back to load approach. Swing gets long, flashes bat speed, has a contact approach and used the whole field to hit.  Athletic overall player with ability to play multiple positions.

4.15.17 - 5-foot-8, 145-pound right-handed hitting catcher with thin, narrow frame. Currently ranked No. 86 in Illinois’ 2019 class. Highly advanced defensive catcher. Possesses quick, athletic feet, flexible hips, ranges well. Mature receiver, soft hands, sticks pitches well; advanced blocker, showed ability to deaden balls in the dirt. Extremely quick, efficient release, directional footwork, highly accurate thrower, above-average carry. Gunned out a fast runner, 2.12 pop time in game, a few sub-2s between innings. Offensively, mechanically quiet, rhythm in load, level path. Runs well, 4.10 on bunt single. Also doubled to right-center and singled up the middle on an 85-mph fastball. Had four hits in doubleheader.

2.20.17 - 5-foot-8, 145-pound, lanky, athletic catcher, projectable body. Defensively, works from a ¾ arm slot with short arm action, consistently made accurate throws down to second, clocked at 75 mph from the crouch. Moves athletically behind the plate, soft hands, quick footwork, quick, clean exchanges, strong receiver. Recorded pop times between 2.00-2.08. Offensively, balanced setup, smooth load, short stride, lower half works, fluid rhythm, maintains balance throughout. Line drive hitter, long path through the zone, recorded an 80 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran a 7.18 laser-timed 60.
