Aggressive swing, present bat strength; 87 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, steady hands, fields out in front of body and clean release. Long arm action, high ¾ slot and throws topped at 79 mph. 7.76 runner in the 60.
7.3.17 - Northern Kentucky commit. 6-foot-5, 205-pound two-way player, advanced frame, strong build. Right-handed hitter, open stance, athletic setup. Above average bat strength, ball jumps off bat, middle of the field approach. Hard contact back up the middle for a pair of hits in two at bats.
4.9.17 - Verbally committed to Northern Kentucky.
1.28.17 - 6-foot-5, 205-pound, wide-shoulder, strong, athletic, two-way prospect. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, tall and fall delivery, works with some rhythm, toe lands closed. Long arm action from a from an over the top angle. Fastball, works mostly straight, sat 79-80 mph. Changeup, thrown for strikes and kept down in the zone, occasional fade action, 67-70 mph. Curveball, 12/6 shape, gradual action, tendency to slow arm, 60-62 mph. Offensively, right-handed hitter, strong contact, above average bat speed. Recorded an 82 mph exit velocity from a tee. Balanced setup, deep pre-pitch load with a long stride. Defensively, arm works short from a high ¾ slot, throws flashed accuracy and clocked at 77 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.46 in the laser-timed 60.

10.23.16 - 6-foot-4, 180-pound, strong, athletically built two-way prospect. On the mound, tall and fall delivery, bouncing action at balance point, stays on-line and gets down the mound. Short arm action out of an over-the-top slot. Fastball, finishes with life through the zone, occasional arm-side-run, sat 79-80 mph. Changeup, sinking action at times, 67-69 mph. Curveball, slows arm speed, 12/6 shape and ranged between 58-62 mph. Offensively, right-handed hitter, with strength through contact and flashed bat speed; 85 mph exit velocity from a tee. Balanced closed setup, leg-kick timing trigger and average balance through contact. Defensively, frame profiles well at first base. Feel for the position and steady hands. Short arm from a high ¾ slot and throws clocked at 78 mph across the diamond. Also, ran a 7.34 laser-timed 60.

6.8.16 - 6-foot-4, 180-pound right-handed pitcher with a lanky frame. Works from a high 3.4 arm angle with a short arm action. Tall and fall, online delivery with a closed toe landing. Some rhythm with an athletic finish. Fastball has slight running action at 76-77 mph for strikes down in the zone. Curveball has 12-6 shape with some depth, slows arm at 61-64 mph. Changeup showed sinking and fading action at 64-65 mph.

1.31.16 - Long, projectable body 6-foot-4, 170-pound prototypical pitchers frame right-handed pitcher with high upside. Threw three pitches for a strike. Some effort and rhythm, high ¾ slot, drop and drive delivery. Fastball mostly straight action, clocked at 75-76 mph. Curveball a tendency to get underneath it and flatten it out, worked 12/6 and ranged between 60-64 mph. Changeup thrown with conviction clocked at 64-68 mph.
