5.27.15 - 5-foot-10, 155-pound athletic left-handed hitting shortstop impressed with defensive range, speed, and bat control. Lambert made several nice defensive plays, highlight by a ball up the middle to his left that was five feet to the right of second base. Showed extremely quick feet from side to side, first-step quickness, short, high ¾ arm action displayed average carry across the diamond. Could stick at shortstop at the next level due to speed/range, arm fits more at second base at the Division-I level, committed to Arkansas State. Ran 4.04 down the line on a hard-hit ground ball single to the six hole. Balanced setup, short stride, short level bat path, also singled over the third baseman’s head, fighting off a pitch on the inner half, impressed laying off the breaking ball down in the zone.

2/16/14 5-foot-11, 155-pound left handed hitting middle infielder. Defensively he plays through balls athletically with quick footwork and soft hands. Arm works long, from a high ¾ slot at 82 mph with accuracy and carry. Ran a 7.15 60. At the plate he hits from a balanced stance with a smooth load and launch sequence. Maintains solid balance through contact. Swing is quiet with a level path, showed the ability to drive the ball with above average bat speed. Exit velocity was 85 mph off a tee.

6.13.13 - Lambert is a 5-foot-11, 145-pound left-handed hitting shortstop with projectable, athletic frame. Shows tools and natural athleticism to become a coveted prospect in the 2015 class. Defensively, he moves with fluidity and ease, takes clean routes to the baseball and has a strong, accurate arm (82 mph across the infield). He showed the ability to throw from different angles and on the move. Ran a 7.20 60. A left-handed hitter, Lambert has a line-drive approach, and works the ball middle-to-left-center. Has barrel whip through the zone and gets excellent extension after contact.

1/20/13 - Athletic build, 5-foot-10, 155-pound middle infielder. Above average defensive actions, athletic footwork, arm plays well, shows carry and accuracy, 77 mph across infield. Offensively hits from balanced setup, left handed hitter, stays through the baseball, creates extension, loose easy swing. Runs 7.25 60.
6/13/12 Lambert is a 5-foot-9, 145-pound athletic middle infielder who impressed at the plate with his left-handed swing.  Lambert has a balanced setup and an advanced approach.  He maintains excellent balance throughout contact using an explosive lower half to generate whip through the zone.   Defensively, Lambert exhibited quick, concise footwork and feel for the position.  He displayed smooth actions and took good angles to the baseball.  Additionally, Lambert showed his athleticism by running a 7.06 60.
