The left-handed hitting Coutre has been one of the summer's biggest revelations. A hard-nosed player, Coutre impressed with his all-around game. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound Coutre took an impressive round of BP. He has a quick and compact left-handed swing, and allows the ball to travel deep in the zone. Coutre is a line drive hitter who sprayed shots to all fields. Defensively, he moves well, plays through the ball and showcased arm strength (84 mph) with solid carry. Coutre, who scored a 30 ACT, also ran a 7.09 60. Left-handed hitter plays top-level outfield. Coutre is a well-rounded player with a strong fundamental base. In the outfield, he showcased solid arm strength (81 mph) and accuracy. At the plate, the left-handed hitting Coutre sprayed line drives to all fields, hitting the ball where it was pitched. Coutre is a fundamentally solid left-handed hitting outfielder who performed well in all facets of the game. Coutre showed natural outfield instincts and movements, as he athletically plays through the ball well and demonstrated good carry on his throws. At the plate, Coutre showed an economical swing path to the ball, which produced line drives all over the field.
