Defensively showed natural actions around the bag, arm played at 80 mph. 7.79 runner in the 60. On the mound arm played from a high ¾ slot, average arm speed, longer arm action with regular effort. Showed feel for three pitches. Fastball has slight run to arm side, sat 77-79, touched 80 mph. Curveball has gradual 1/7 action, flashed depth, showed feel, 68-69 mph. Changeup thrown with fastball arm speed, slight arm side run, showed control. 74-76 mph.

6/21/15 - 6-foot, 200-pound, first fbaseman with an XL frame. Offensively hits from an open stance. Power hitter who likes to pull the ball. Showed good feel for the barrel squaring up pitches and making solid contact. Strength and leverage Went 2-3 in game with 2 RBIs.

7/14/14 - Big build, 6-foot, 200-pound left handed hitting first baseman, present strength. Offensively hits from an open stance, smooth loading action, short stride, good balance through contact. Pull side power approach, shows the ability to go opposite field, impacts the ball well with repeatability. Well above average bat speed, 78 mph exit velocity from the tee. Showed similarly in game, several hard hit baseball, including a double. Defensively shows natural actions around the bag, longer arm action, high ¾ slot, 73 mph arm across the diamond. Softer hands, advanced defender at first base. On the mound fastball pitched at 75-77 mph, showed feel. Curveball had control of the zone, near fastball arm action. Showed a good mix of fastball curveball.

2/17/14 - 6-foot, 200-pound left-handed hitting two-way player with a strong body. At the plate he hits from a balanced stance with a heel lift load and launch mechanism and maintains balance through the swing. Swing is short and sweet with above average bat speed and pull side approach, consistently making strong contact. Exit velocity was 84 mph off a tee. Defensively, showed soft hands and solid feel around the bag. Arm works short, from high ¾ slot at 72 mph with some accuracy and carry. Ran a 7.94 60. On the mound he uses a tall and fall delivery with clean lines, some rhythm, regular effort, a square landing and athletic finish. Arm works long, from a high ¾ slot. Threw his fastball for strikes, sitting 73-75 mph with flashes of run. Displayed feel for his changeup, throwing it 66-67 mph with sink, for strikes. Curveball was 59-61 mph with 12/6 shape and loose action.
