Marske was a big reason why the 34-7 Roadrunners claimed their first state trophy, placing fourth in Class 3A last spring. With his athletic, projectable frame, the left-hander posted a 9-1 record as a junior, finishing with 1.62 ERA and a 1.37 WHIP. In 56.1 innings, he notched 63 strikeouts and 30 walks. His mid-80s fastball has natural arm-side run and his arm works with fluidity.
