Perkowicz is an athletic, slick-fielding middle infielder who enjoyed a breakout junior campaign. As the Huskies’ leadoff man, Perkowitz scored 36 runs, walked 23 times, struck out only 9 times and swiped 20 of 23 bases. He also tallied 5 doubles, 6 triples and 12 RBI while batting .301. Defensively, Perkowitz possesses athletic feet, quick hands and a solid arm across the infield.
