Arm Action: RH. Long arm action, high 3/4 arm slot.
FB: T82, 81-82 mph. Flashed a cutting action, thrown for strikes. T2038, 1904 average rpm.
CB: 61-63 mph. 12/6 shape, has depth, thrown down in the zone. T2314, 2200 average rpm.
SL: 66-68 mph. 10/4 shape, gradual action, has feel. T2340, 2297 average rpm.

CB: 60-62 mph. Decelerates arm speed, but demonstrates a feel to spin it helping it project well; averaged a spin rate of 2,269 rpm. Break is more vertical, inconsistent shape, but flashes sharp, tight.

While the results might not have been what Carter was looking for in his start on Sunday, he demonstrated his upside and swing-and-miss abilities by striking out eight batters in four innings, walking only one.
