4/19/19

De-committed from Triton JC and verbally committed to Xavier.

11.21.18 - Verbally committed to Triton JC.

10.30.18 - Decommitted from Arkansas.

2.11.18 - Arkansas commit. 6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed pitcher, lean loose frame. Full windup delivery, uptempo, squared landing, rotational finish to first base side, some effort. Arm action is loose and live, quick arm, high ¾ slot. Fastball showed feel, controlled at the top of the zone, 86-88 mph, touched 89 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, 67-72 mph, Slider is 73-75 mph, more sweeping action. Aggressive changeup, thrown with arm speed, and plays with arm side run, 80-81 mph.

2017 Future Games (8.2.17) - Recent Arkansas commit. 6-foot-2, 190-pound right-hander shows thicker, proportional strength throughout his frame, and quick, strong arm. Rojahn works from a full windup and repeats well while pounding the zone and creating weak contact. Elevated himself into the Top 10 of the Class of 2019 Illinois rankings thanks to his showing at the Future Games. Has the frame and stuff of a future starter, and ran his fastball up to 89 mph while featuring and showing feel for a curveball, slider, and changeup. Did not allow a hit in his two innings of work at the event, while striking out three. Fastball has life, works mostly straight, finishes through the hitting zone and sat 86-88 mph, touching 89. Showed feel for both breaking balls. Slider, sharper, later action, good feel, 10/4 shape, 77-78 mph. Curveball works 11/5, depth, 69-71 mph. Changeup, thrown aggressively, good feel, went to it for a strikeout, 79-80 mph. High-level 2019 arm.

4.12.17 - 6-foot-2, 190-pound, strong, athletically built right-handed pitcher, has strength in lower half. Got the start and threw seven shutout innings. Scattered two hits, struck out five and walked two. Full wind-up delivery, with deep rocker step back, stays directional and finishes towards first base. Slight stab arm action out of the glove, comes out of a short window from a ¾ slot; arm is live, quick and loose. Fastball has life, arm-side-run, controls it around the zone, gets underneath at times and rides it up in the zone; sat 84-86 mph in the first inning, touching 87. In the sixth inning sat more 81-84 mph. Has feel and confidence for his breaking ball, went to it often, throws it aggressively, go-to pitch, can throw it in any count, gets good depth when he stays on top, 74-79 mph. Did not see a changeup. High-follow uncommitted 2019 right-handed arm.

10.23.16 - 6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed pitcher, average build. Full windup delivery, deep rocker step straight back to directional heel toe landing, recoil finish falls to first base side. Arm action is quick and loose, ¾ slot. Fastball finishes with straight four seam life through the zone, occasionally gets underneath and creates flat action, sat 83-85 mph, touched 86 mph. Throws two breaking balls, curveball has 11/5 shape, showed some feel at 63-67 mph. Slider has flatter action, more lateral with 10/4 shape, tight rotation at 71-73 mph. Changeup has good feel, arm side sink, 71-75 mph. High follow 2019 prospect with live arm and showed potential for four above average pitches.
