10.14.18 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound catcher, lean build. Offensive minded prospect, left-handed hitter with bat speed. Hits out of a tall open stance, long stride, on time. Hands are loose, creates whip through hitting zone, some length with pull side approach. 89 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.17 runner in the 60. Arm plays short and over the top, some effort out of the crouch, 73 mph. 2.29-2.37 pop times out of the crouch.
2.18.18 - 5-foot-11, 163-pound, well-proportioned, left-handed hitting catcher. 7.19 runner in the 60, laser-timed. At the plate, open, tall setup, gets separation in hands, slight bar and leg-kick trigger. Creates advanced bat speed for age, aggressive, violent swing, bat stays flat through the zone, line-drive approach and 88 mph exit velocity from a tee. Behind the plate, plays tall out of the crouch. Short, high ¾ arm slot, topped at 75 mph. Pop times ranged between 2.08-2.22.
10.22.17 - 5-foot-11, 155-pound left-handed hitting catcher, lean athletic build with projectable bat.. Hits from an open stance, leg kick trigger, loads hands back, tips barrel forward, good balance. Aggressive swing, really attacks the baseball, path is flat through contact, gap to gap contact in BP, in rhythm. 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. Arm action is firm, high ¾ slot, 70 mph out of the crouch. Exchange has length, and works uphill out of the chute, 2.29-2.42 pop times. 7.25 runner in the 60.
4.12.17 - 5-foot-10, 140-pound, left-handed hitting catcher. Looks thicker than 140-pounds. High-ceiling left-handed hitter in the 2020 class. Open setup, high back elbow, pre-pitch rhythm, smooth load, and aggressive approach. Bat speed is evident and ball jumps off his bat well-above average for his age. Finished the day 1-for-3 with a double. The double came in his last at-bat and was a line drive down the right-field line, 4.51 on the turn. Also, barreled a ball right at the second baseman. Defensively, ability to handle the pitching staff; agile blocker. Arm is currently behind the bat. Follow 2020 left-handed hitter.
