3/28/16 Game Notes: The Butler commit had a great start to the season going 3/4 with a 2B and 3 RBI. Normally this time of year velocity on the mound can over power hitters, but the LHH had no issue squaring upper 80's fastballs.  He also looked good in the field with fluid, athletic actions at SS.  

2/22/15: A 6-foot-1, 170 pound left-handed hitting SS, hits from a slightly open, athletic setup.  Shows a smooth load with a short stride.  Good rhythm and balance throughout the swing.  Possesses quick hands to the baseball.  Swing path is slightly uphill with some barrel whip. Shows present power to his pull-side.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 88 mph. Defensively, showcased above average hands with a quick, clean exchange.  Moves well, athletic, plays through the ball.  Across the diamond was 81 with carry and accuracy.  

7/29/14: 6 foot 1 inch, 185 pounds, 6.98/60, Athletic frame with a strong lower body. Aggressive player that throws 76 mph across the infield from a ¾ arm slot with average carry and on target. Offensively he has a buggy whip type swing from an open stance with a short stride and good extension through contact. Line drive type hitter that will hit for power as he gets stronger.
